So instead I have changed the links pages to just be a selection of sites of interest that contain all sorts of interesting links relating to Brass bands for reference, humour and technical innovations. I've still tried to keep loyal to providing links for local Midlands bands, especially the lower sections, and bands that have asked for links and/or hat i've communicated with. (Also take a look at the other Worcestershire local links at the bottom of the page please) |

Derby |
A "local" band whose Webmaster Carol Webster regularly keeps in touch with us. They were runners-up in the 2nd Section National Championships in September 1998 and came a creditable 5th in the Midlands 1st Section this year. |

Colliery Band |
Had to include this band - although I don't normally include Championship Bands. But from their low point in the early 1980s when they almost folded to their resurgence this year by winning the 1999 Yorkshire Regional Qualifying Contest I've included them. Also because young Marc Robins (our Bass Trom's son) joined them at Christmas! |

Andy Wooler and Nigel Horne look after this list of Band people from all over who are on ICQ. ICQ is a free piece of software that you then register to receive a unique ICQ number. You can then know when friends are on the Internet and chat online with them. If you want to know more about ICQ the there is a description of what ICQ is and you can go to the homepage and download the latest software at this place |
